Babel Audio ऐसे ट्रांसक्राइबर्स की तलाश में है, जो बारीकियों पर ध्यान देते हों और ऑडियो रिकॉर्डिंग्स को सही, साफ़ और व्यवस्थित टेक्स्ट में बदलने में मदद कर सकें। इस काम में आपको जिन ऑडियो पर काम करना होगा, उनमें अलग-अलग विषयों, अलग-अलग वक्ताओं और अलग-अलग रिकॉर्डिंग स्थितियों वाली सामान्य बातचीत और पहले से लिखे गए संवाद/भाषण शामिल होगी।

इस भूमिका में अच्छी सुनने की क्षमता बहुत ज़रूरी है, क्योंकि आपको रिकॉर्डिंग में हो रही हर चीज़ पर ध्यान देना होगा, सिर्फ़ बोले गए शब्दों पर नहीं। हमारा ट्रांसक्रिप्शन तरीका इंसानी बातचीत की पूरी गहराई और स्वाभाविकता को पकड़ने पर आधारित है। इसलिए आपसे ऑडियो में सुनाई देने वाली चीज़ों को सही तरीके से लेबल करने की उम्मीद की जाएगी, जैसे बोले गए शब्द, शोर और ऐसी आवाज़ें जिनमें कोई बोल नहीं रहा होता।

आपको साफ़ दिशानिर्देश और रेफरेंस मटीरियल दिए जाएँगे, जिनमें बताया होगा कि किस तरह के टैग का इस्तेमाल कहाँ और कैसे करना है। इस काम में सबसे ज़रूरी चीज़ें हैं: सटीकता, लगातार एकरूपता बनाए रखना और छोटी-छोटी बातों पर ध्यान देना।

आप में ये योग्यताएँ होनी चाहिए

• आपको हिंदी पर बहुत अच्छी पकड़ होनी चाहिए, मातृभाषा जैसी समझ के साथ।
• आपकी सुनने की क्षमता मज़बूत होनी चाहिए, ताकि आप एक साथ बोल रहे लोगों, अलग-अलग उच्चारण वाले वक्ताओं और अलग-अलग गुणवत्ता वाली रिकॉर्डिंग को समझ सकें।
• आपको व्यवस्थित निर्देशों के अनुसार काम करने में सहज होना चाहिए। इसमें साधारण टेक्स्ट के अलावा अलग-अलग टैगिंग नियमों को समझना और लागू करना भी शामिल है।
• आपका काम करने का तरीका व्यवस्थित और एक जैसा होना चाहिए, ताकि आप कई घंटों के ऑडियो में भी एक ही शैली और नियमों का सही तरीके से पालन कर सकें।
• अगर आपको ट्रांसक्रिप्शन, कैप्शनिंग, सबटाइटलिंग या इसी तरह के किसी काम का अनुभव है, तो यह अच्छा रहेगा। (हालाँकि, अनुभव ज़रूरी नहीं है।)

तकनीकी ज़रूरतें

• आपके पास भरोसेमंद कंप्यूटर और स्थिर इंटरनेट कनेक्शन होना चाहिए।
• ऑडियो को सही तरीके से सुनने और जाँचने के लिए हेडफ़ोन या ईयरफ़ोन का इस्तेमाल करना बेहतर रहेगा।
• ध्यान से सुनने के लिए शांत जगह पर काम करना ज़रूरी है।

About the Role

Babel Audio is seeking detail-oriented transcribers to help convert audio recordings into accurate, structured text. The audio you will work with includes natural conversations and scripted speech across a wide range of topics, speakers, and acoustic conditions.

This role requires a trained ear and careful attention to everything happening in a recording, not just the words being said. Our transcription standard captures the full richness of human communication, and you will be asked to label audio that you hear, including words, noises, and non-speech audio.

You will work from clear guidelines and reference materials that define how each tag type should be used. Accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail are the core requirements of this role.

Who You Are

• Native-level fluency in Hindi
• Strong listening skills with the ability to parse overlapping speech, accented speakers, and varied recording quality
• Comfortable working with structured annotation guidelines, including tagging conventions beyond plain text
• Methodical and consistent, able to apply a defined style across many hours of audio
• Experienced in transcription, captioning, subtitling, or a related field (preferred but not required)

Compensation

• up to $110 USD / audio hour transcribed
• Additional performance-based incentives may be available

• A reliable computer and stable internet connection
• Headphones or earphones recommended for accurate audio review
• A quiet environment for focused listening
